Palmarosa has an invigorating, vitalizing and mood-lifting effect on our mind. It gives us courage and strength, soothes and harmonizes troubled feelings and has a balancing effect on nerves. Particularly sensitive people are in good hands with this fragrance. Soothing, regenerating massage: add 1-2 drops to 30 ml of almond oil and massage in with gentle circular movements.

About the plant

Palmarosa is an evergreen, tropical grass belonging to the large sweet grass family, which also includes lemongrass and citronella. The grass, which grows up to 2 meters high, is native to Asia, but is now also grown in Africa and South America. Palmarosa is very valued in the cosmetics and perfume industries. Natives of the Caribbean islands use the grass in drinks and as a facial tonic. The fragrance profile is described as flowery, sensual and rose-like. Most of the biochemical components of Palmarosa are geraniol, a monoterpenol known for its skin-friendly properties.
