ABOUT THE PLANT
Mandarins belong to the citrus family and are characterized by their orange-like appearance. It is said to originally come from north-east India or China. Compared to the orange, however, the tangerine is a lot smaller. The skins of ripe mandarins contain anthranilic acid esters, which are known to have an anticonvulsant effect and influence brain metabolism.
