use
Lydia Bosson describes in her book Hydrolatherapie: The cedar symbolizes dignity and strength. Your hydrolate and essential oil combat hypersensitivity and do not help you stay on the defensive. Experience shows that spirits are awakened and that both mind and body come to rest. The confidence gained helps to see the goals in life more clearly and to approach the future with more serenity. Carry it with you as a smell bottle and use it whenever you need this confidence and courage.
About the plant
The Himalayan cedar is a type of conifer and belongs to the pine family. The tree, which is up to 35 meters high and grows at altitudes of up to 3000 meters, is native from western Nepal to eastern Afghanistan. The scent of the cedar is described as woody, warm and fresh. The main ingredients of cedar are sesquiterpenes, which are known to have anti-inflammatory effects and are used in naturopathy for colds.
