A member of the Rosaceae family and a relative of the Peach and Apricot, the Almond tree is native to Barbary but cultivated in the Mediterranean and California. It bears soft cream blossoms with yellow centres, which appear before the leaves.

The Almond is mentioned many times in the Bible; 'And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds' (Numbers, xvii, 8).

All oils should be kept out of eyes. Do not put on top eye lid as this may run into eyes. You should be able to use at 100% unless you are sensitive.
