Calendula, also known as Marigold is an ideal herb for sensitive and inflamed skin. It is caring and widely used for its ability to soothe skin irritations whilst promoting cell repair and regeneration. Perfect for all skin types, apply this silky cream after misting the face with a botanical hydrolat of your choice (roman chamomile is recommended for sensitive, irritated skin, rose for all types).

Key ingredients that make this pot full of soothing, reparative nourishment:

Organic handcrafted calendula (Calendula officinalis) - We grow our calendula flowers ourselves, completely organically, less than 100 meters from where we hand make all of our skincare offerings. The flowers are harvested throughout the summer, dried and then double infused in organic cold pressed sunflower oil, so we know that the finished product is as potent as possible.

English Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) - Adding a sweet, calming scent to our Calendula cream, our roman chamomile is grown in Norfolk, England. Both the essential oil and hydrolat are used in this cream, providing gentle anti-inflammatory, cooling and soothing properties to irritated skin.

Organic Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis miller) - Hydrating, soothing & restorative, Aloe naturally contains salicylic acid that helps keep skin clear. Being slightly acidic, Aloe vera mimics the skin's natural ph, helping to keep a balance of healthy, good bacteria, thus reducing infection and surface acne.
