LOCKING AND UNLOCKING PUMP TOPS If the cap is not on very tight the tube will spin, not allowing to unlock or lock the pump. Screw cap on tight. Do not push down or pull to lock while locking or unlocking. It should be a simple quarter turn (off close) to right, and (on open) quarter turn to left. Over turning may damage the pump.

The healing properties of aloe Vera are numerous and well known. Great as an after sun lotion, it will help to soothe and repair sun ravaged skin. I add a few drops of lavender if the skin has been over exposed. Can be used on insect bites and minor burns as well.

An ingredient in our First Aid roller ball. I can really recommend this product as a moisturizer. It takes a little getting used to as it leaves the skin feeling slightly tight but toned at first, and the effects are noticeable after a few days. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth.

"I have been using Kobashi Aloe Vera Gel on my face and hair every day since 1997." I look much younger than my age, even though I work, work work, drink occasionally. It even helps with laugh lines. kind regards, Scott Ballard Director/Owner of Kobashi.

Kobashi's supplier is a certified organically grown grower, processor and distributor of aloe Vera juices. The Company's Aloe Farms and Aloe Vera Laboratories are located in the fertile Texas Rio Grande Valley. The farms contain over 500,000 mature aloe plants organically grown. All plants are grown free of chemicals and fertilizers. The standards under which Aloe Vera is grown and manufactured vary greatly from one company to another. There are very few companies who actually grow and process their own products.

Quality control greatly affects whether processed aloe Vera retains the 200 or more active compounds contained in a fresh aloe leaf.

Our supplier has been the leading producer of Aloe Vera products since 1971, and can guarantee that their Aloe Vera meet the highest industry standards. Each plant is nourished and developed to produce healthy 1 to 2 lb. leaves, containing a maximum level of total solids (Aloe's naturally occurring active ingredients). This method of organically grown farming retains nature's purity and ensures that all leaves selected for processing are of the highest quality, exceeding industry standards. All Kobashi Aloe leaves are harvested and refrigerated within four hours to ensure that there is the minimum oxidation or decomposition of the naturally occurring active ingredients. Leaves are selected to fillet by hand.

There may be a small amount of charcoal dust on the bottom and this is not harmful. Charcoal has been used to clean the body of toxins. For decades now, the aloin content in our products has been filtered down with a charcoal filtration process to be well within safety standards. Aloin, or Aloe latex, comes from a thin layer of yellow sap that separates the outer rind from the inner gel-like portion of the leaf and acts as the laxative component. In raw form, Aloe vera's aloin content is around 10,000 parts per million, which can be harsh on the body. As an aloe leader, our supplier saw it necessary to have independent testing conducted on our products to validate their safety when ingested. The results of this study showed that their products contain less than 1 part per million aloin content, or 1,000 times less than raw Aloe vera. This minimal content affirms that our products are safe to use on a daily basis, for extended periods of time.

Aloe Vera is known to contain well over 100 separate ingredients between those found in the leaf and the mucilaginous gel inside the leaf. It is also known that some of the ingredients found in the leaf such as aloin, are recognized as having laxative properties, and are known to be destructive to human skin in regards to the development of keratinocytes. These harmful ingredients are carefully removed during processing.

Aloe Vera contains: Amino Acids - alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tyrosine, valine. Enzymes - alinase, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, cellulase, glucose oxidase, lipase, malic dehydrogenase, protease. Minerals - aluminium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, sodium, zinc. Vitamins - A, B1, B2, C, E, Choline, Folic Acid, Inositol, Niacin. There are many clinical trails carried out on the various properties of the aloe Vera plant. Studies have shown that the effects of salicylates and magnesium found in aloe Vera gel reduce pain and cause a reduction in the formation of prostaglandin's and thromboxanes. The active ingredients in aloe Vera have the ability to penetrate the upper layers of the epidermis stimulating and speeding up tissue and cellular repair.

Aloe Vera naturally contains: lupeol, salicylic acid, urea nitrogen, cinnamonic acid, phenols, and sulphur, fatty acids, cholesterol, campersterol and B-sitosterol (plant sterols) , 23 polypeptids: Aloe emodin and Aloe lectins,

People with thin sensitive skin may feel warm and get red skin after applying Aloe Vera. Aloe vera does increase the circulation in the skin and can make it slightly red for a short time. This is most likely due to the acids. Aloe Vera gel is often used to relieve pain and analysis shows that the gel contains salicylic acid.
