Vanilla, native to the tropical forests of Mexico, is an orchid from which a pod is obtained that is used in cooking and cosmetics. From its seeds a precious oil is obtained with an inebriating aphrodisiac, relaxing and rebalancing scent. It reduces inflammation, has antioxidant and antibacterial properties, to be applied pure locally or mixed with almond, jojoba or sesame oil for a massage in a large area. It has a soothing action for the symptoms of menopause and menstrual pain, especially on abdominal cramps, even those of nervous origin. It is effective as a sedative, in cases of anxiety, insomnia and strong stress: apply a drop to the solar plexus and massage gently.
