Sandalwood is a small tree of the Santalaceae family, evergreen and hemiparasitic, which attaches itself to the roots of other species, especially Palms and Bamboo, from which it mainly recovers water and mineral salts. The powder is obtained from the wood and can be added to the water of a hot bath to combat physical and mental exhaustion.
This powder can be used to delicately perfume the body and hair. Wet the palms of your hands, pour a small amount of Sandalwood into the palm, distribute between your hands and rub over your skin or hair.
SKIN : It can be used on the face by those who suffer from acne or have blackheads and pimples, thanks to its purifying and antimicrobial properties. It is also illuminating and an excellent adjuvant to combat skin blemishes. It helps to rebalance oily skin and reduce itching caused by eczema and rashes. Excellent association with Turmeric, Amla, Madder and Nagar Motha.

HISTORY and CURIOSITIES : An ancient Indian popular belief stated that no evil spirit could enter a house where the scent of Sandalwood was diffused.

HOW TO USE :

Mix the powder with hot water or Rose Water (recommended!) and add any other Herbs. Cover the container and let it sit for 15 minutes. Apply the paste to a clean, dry or slightly damp face and leave it on for 10/15 minutes. If your skin is combination or dry, do not let the mask dry but moisten it from time to time, dispensing water or Floral Waters. Complete the treatment by applying Rose Water or other Floral Waters. 

The Herbs can be used in synergy with each other for a complete and personalized treatment.
